The Mama

The Mama, she could be living, she could be gone, she may be imperfect, but she's super strong. She's a lil' bit zany, when she spots a daisy, she may be seen, she might be unseen. When she's a tad bit rainy, hey she ain't that mean. She may have green leaves, along with mysterious trees, she often comes to visit you through a recollected breeze. The mojo from the mama hides in the snap peas. 🫛 Seek that good and healthy energy.

Inspired by a Statue

The inspiration for this art and shop came from an old weathered, left over wooden statue of an sacred African fertility goddess, which came from Yasa's mother's backyard garden. Her mother found it at a local African art shop in the 1980's. It used to have a little tuft of boar hair on the top of the head, but was picked off by enthusiastic birds, who needed the hair for there nesty abodes.

It was hand carved from a exquisite talented anonymous African artist from far far away. It was on it's way to the local thrift store when Yasa asked her mother if she could have it. This statue now lives in Yasa's garden and blesses the flowers, herbs, and vegetables that she grows in her humble garden.

To the mystical artist and wise woman Yasa, this statue represents the power of persaverance through time, the preservation of natural beauty, the appreciation of the unusual, the recognition of Mother Natures natural mystical divine patterns in nature, and the blessing of a fertile ground that eminates love and abundance. Yasa's digital art is done with a variety of software, including the use of old school 90's shareware, to dabbling with new AI methods in order to miracoulusly create what she envisions. Most of her art is made with old fractal software, but will cite if AI when used. She has created a variety of graphic art and digital art since 1983. Through the years, she has combined poetry and art as a form of healing all things that ails her, while helping others do the same, --keeping intune with the mystical tones of nature.
